Sustainability and Climate Sales Specialist
Sells ESG research, climate risk analytics, and sustainability-focused investment solutions to institutional clients including asset managers, banks, and pension funds
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with diverse institutional clients across buy-side and sell-side financial services
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities with strong focus on pipeline generation and deal closure
- Educate potential clients about sustainability and climate investment trends through product demonstrations and discovery calls
- Proactively prospect and engage with new prospects to expand market reach in underpenetrated segments
- Collaborate with client service, marketing, research, and product management teams to achieve cross-segment opportunities
- Gather and communicate industry trends and competitive intelligence to senior management
- Maintain CRM systems with accurate activity tracking to support sales forecasting
Skills & Tools:
- Institutional sales experience with quantitative sales objectives
- Deep understanding of sustainable finance markets and ESG investment processes
- Knowledge of climate risk analytics and sustainability ratings methodologies
- CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
- Financial services industry knowledge (asset management, banking, insurance)
- Consultative sales and relationship-building capabilities
- Regulatory awareness of ESG disclosure requirements
- Strong presentation and client education skills
